Background: On October 9, 2018 Klamath County Public Health received board approval to submit applications for a Supplemental Environmental Project (SEP) to the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ). The SEP submitted was for woodstove change out opportunities in Klamath Falls and Chiloquin. A recently settled enforcement action between DEQ and Collins will fund this SEP. The agreement provides funding in the amount of $78,960. With this funding KCPH will issue Request for Proposals (RFPs) for designated areas in Klamath Falls and Chiloquin to change out woodstoves. The agreement is effective February 8, 2019 through June 30, 2019. Parties acknowledge that effective date is prior to signature date.
